205 Live on March 27, 2018, was a great show. 205 Live is a show where the cruiserweights take center stage as they will risk their bodies to entertain us wrestling fans. Let’s break it down:

We start off the show with a video package hyping up the four-way match between Akira Tozawa, Kalisto, TJP, and Buddy Murphy. This was good as it’s hyping up the four-way match later on the show. Well produced video package here.

Mark Andrews Vs. Tony Nese was a great match. Drake Maverick was on commentary for this match.

Tony Nese did great in this match as he tried to prove why he is The Premier Athlete. His running back elbow and his forearm smash on Mark Andrews looked like it broke Mark Andrews’ jaw. Mark Andrews did great in this match as well as he wants to get to the top of the cruiserweight division. His counter to Tony Nese’s powerslam into a Tornado DDT was well executed. His second-rope moonsault to the outside on Tony Nese was executed beautifully. His counter to Tony Nese’s powerslam into a counter was impressive. Great work by both men here.

The ending of the match came when Mark Andrews hit a shooting star press on Tony Nese for the pin and win. A good win for Mark Andrews as he plans to become a future WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

After the match, Mark Andrews went to the commentary table and told Drake Maverick that he wants a match with Drew Gulak and Drake Maverick told Mark Andrews that he will get his match against Drew Gulak next week.

Well, Mark Andrews gets what he wants and he’ll get Drew Gulak next week. Let’s see if Mark Andrews can get revenge on Drew Gulak for what he did to him in the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.

Great match and I’m looking forward to Mark Andrews Vs. Drew Gulak next week.

The backstage interview with Drew Gulak by Dasha Fuentes was good. Drew Gulak talked about how Mark Andrews is a great high flier and what he did to him was a bit too far, but what he did was to make a statement. His statement is that he is the most dangerous man in the cruiserweight division because if anyone gets in his way, they will submit to him.

Drew Gulak showing more aggression and viciousness in his character and I love it. I’m interested to see if Drew Gulak will inflict more pain to Mark Andrews just like in the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Good backstage interview here.

We then see Buddy Murphy and TJP backstage as they’re getting ready for the four-way match later on the show. Both men are looking focused heading into the match, but only one man can win. Let’s see who it is.

The sit-down interview between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali by Drake Maverick was great. Drake Maverick talked about how that Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will face each other at Wrestlemania 34 for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Cedric Alexander talked about how he and Mustafa Ali were watching Wrestlemania 33 and it was a great experience for them. Mustafa Ali said at Wrestlemania 34, they’re going to face each other for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Wrestlemania 34 and it’s going to be one for the ages.

Drake Maverick then said that Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali have similar paths to getting where they are today and how that will affect the match at Wrestlemania 34. Cedric Alexander said that he has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and he’s going to do this for his daughter at Wrestlemania 34. Mustafa Ali then told Cedric Alexander that he’s rooting for him, but he has gotten his opportunity and failed. He then told Cedric Alexander that his story may not have an ending, but his story might as he plans to walk out WWE Cruiserweight Champion at Wrestlemania 34.

Cedric Alexander then told Mustafa Ali that he will sacrifice everything to become WWE Cruiserweight Champion at Wrestlemania 34 and he’s willing to stomp on the heart of Mustafa Ali to do it. Mustafa Ali then told Cedric Alexander that he better do it if he wants to win as both men shook hands.

Tension is starting to grow between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali heading into their match at Wrestlemania 34. Let’s see who walks out as WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Great sit-down interview and I’m looking forward to Cedric Alexander Vs. Mustafa Ali for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Wrestlemania 34.

We then see Lucha House Party, Akira Tozawa, and Hideo Itami backstage as Kalisto and Akira Tozawa are getting ready for their match coming up next. Both men are looking ready thanks to the support of their partners. Let’s see if any of them gets the win in the match coming up next.

Kalisto Vs. Akira Tozawa Vs. TJP Vs. Buddy Murphy in a four-way match was excellent. Mark out moment! These four men went out there and gave everything they have as they want to get a shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Kalisto did excellent in this match as he wants another shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. His 450 splash senton on Akira Tozawa and TJP was beautifully executed. The way he used Buddy Murphy’s body to lift himself up to hit Salida del Sol (Standing sitout shiranui) on TJP was well executed. Excellent work by Kalisto here.

Akira Tozawa did excellent in this match as he also wants another shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. His suicide dive on TJP was beautifully executed. His diving senton on top of Kalisto when TJP locked Kalisto in the Surfboard while Buddy Murphy was trying to pin TJP was well done. His shining wizard on Kalisto looked devastating. Excellent work by Akira Tozawa here.

TJP did excellent in this match too as he wants to prove the world why he won the Cruiserweight Classic in the first place. The way he was applying multiple submissions on everyone in the match was awesome to see. Excellent work by TJP here.

Buddy Murphy did excellent in this match too as he continues to show why he is The Best Kept Secret in wrestling. His somersault dive on TJP, Akira Tozawa, and Kalisto to the outside was executed perfectly. His corkscrew plancha on Akira Tozawa and Kalisto was also executed perfectly. Excellent work by Buddy Murphy here.

The ending of the match came when Buddy Murphy hit TJP with Murphy’s Law (Pumphandle lift into a Death Valley Driver) for the pin and win. A great win for Buddy Murphy as he looks to become the next #1 Contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Shhh…

Excellent four-way match and I’m waiting to see when Buddy Murphy will get his shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Overall, a great show for the seventieth episode of 205 Live. It’s great to see the cruiserweights with more focus and attention here and it’s only going to get better from here. Looking forward to it.
