NXT Showcase: No Way Jose

Topic/Subject: Today, I will be showing a promo that involves a man that loves to have a fiesta!

Wrestler: “El Jefe” No Way Jose (Manny Garcia/Levis Valenzuela Jr.).

Background Information: No Way Jose is billed from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is trained by Roy Wilkins, Trevor Lee, and the CWF Dojo.

He made his debut in CWF Mid-Atlantic as Manny Garcia on May 17, 2013. He lost his debut match against Ric Converse.

On May 3, 2014, he defeated Mark James to win the CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Championship. On December 6, 2014, he lost the title to Chris Lea.

On December 27, 2014, he re-captured the TV Championship. On March 21, 2015, he lost his title in a Fatal 4 Way where Chet Sterling came out as victorious.

In addition to CWF Mid-Atlantic, he also appeared for promotions including Fire Star Pro Wrestling (FSPW) and OMEGA Championship Wrestling.

In April 2015, it was reported that he had signed a contract with WWE.

On April 10 2015, he was announced as one of 11 new signings to begin training at the WWE Performance Center.

Wrestling under his real name, he made his first appearance on NXT as an enhancement talent, teaming with Elias Samson in a defeat to American Alpha.

He then began to make frequent appearances at NXT house shows for the rest of 2015 and the early part of 2016.

In April 2016, vignettes began to air hyping the debut of him, now repackaged as No Way Jose. He made his official debut on April 20, 2016, on an episode of NXT, defeating Alexander Wolfe.

He then began a feud with Austin Aries during the summer of 2016 in NXT.

He still competes in NXT to this day.

With his fun character and great charisma, he could be a great character for WWE if used right like in NXT. No Way Jose!

My Thoughts: No Way Jose is a very interesting individual. The man has a good look, the man has presence about him in and outside of the ring, the guy has a good character, the guy has great charisma, and he’s a solid wrestler for a man his size. No Way Jose!

Video: This video contains a backstage promo by No Way Jose on May 4, 2016.

My Thoughts: This was a good promo from No Way Jose who just competed in his first match in Full Sail since debuting on NXT.

No Way Jose talked about that he has high energy and a positive attitude, but he’s going to bring all of it to NXT as people will soon see who No Way Jose is.

No Way Jose got to show his charisma and personality here which is nice to see. His character is basically a man that likes to have fun, but when he’s in the ring, he’s in a whole different world.

Good promo from No Way Jose here as he eventually got better as time goes on, but that’s another story for another day.

To me, No Way Jose can be something in WWE if used right. Even though I think he has some work to do, the man has potential and I can’t deny the charisma the man has. It will only be a matter of time when we have a fiesta in our hands. No Way Jose!

After watching the video, give me your thoughts on the video or the wrestler himself. Thank you.
