NXT’s Next Breakout Stars in 2017?: FIP

Published

on

FIP or Full Impact Pro is one of the most well known American independent wrestling companies today where it has a current relationship with WWN Live.

For the past two years, NXT has picked up some wrestlers who are well known for their time in FIP such as Rich Swann, Lince Dorado, and etc. It’s only a matter of time when WWE is planning to sign more talent from FIP if they want their relationship with WWN Live to grow as time goes on.

This list won’t contain wrestlers that competed in NXT or the developmental territory of WWE in the past such as Jody Kristofferson, Josh Woods, Martin Stone, Monster Tarver, etc. so please keep that in mind.

Now, it’s time to see which five wrestlers from FIP I think NXT will pick up or I want NXT to pick up in 2017.

Honorable Mentions: Braydon Knight, Jon Davis, Reed Bentley, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara, Teddy Stigma

5. The Hooligans

Mason and Devin Cutter, The Hooligans are one of the best tag teams in FIP today who are known for their hard hitting style in the ring.

With ten years of experience as a tag team, these two have been FIP Tag Team Champions for over a year with their great chemistry, their good characters, good charisma, and they’re good in-ring wrestlers.

Now, I don’t know if NXT are interested in The Hooligans or not, but if NXT wants more established tag teams while they build their own, then The Hooligans should be a tag team that NXT should look into if they want more tag teams in their tag team division.

4. Chase Brown

From Easley, South Carolina, Chase Brown is one of the rising stars in FIP today who is known to be a cauliflower in the company.

With four years of wrestling experience, this cauliflower is here to show that he’s not someone to mess with. With his unique look, great character, great charisma, and good in-ring ability, he would be an interesting addition to NXT in terms of a character standpoint.

I don’t know if NXT is interested in him or not, but if NXT is looking for wrestlers have great charisma, Chase Brown would be a good candidate for them as he could show that this cauliflower can fight.

3. Adam Brooks

From Melbourne, Australia, Adam Brooks is a man who has recently made a name for himself in FIP with his well known technical wrestling ability.

With nine years of wrestling experience, this man from Australia is here to show the world that he is one of the best technical wrestlers from Australia today as he is the protege. With his unique look and great in-ring ability, he would be an interesting addition to NXT in the singles ranks.

I don’t know if NXT is interested in him or not, but if NXT is looking for wrestlers that have a lot of experience and more international exposure, Adam Brooks would be a great candidate for NXT. Even though he lacked character and charisma, him getting signed could benefit him as he can go to the Performance Center to get a character and charisma there. Plus, since they’re recently going into the Australian market, this protege would definitely help in that area.

2. Jonny Vandal

From New York City, New York, Jonny Vandal is one of the best wrestlers that FIP has to offer as he is known for his technical wrestling ability.

With fourteen years of wrestling experience, this Turkish descent man is here to show the world that he is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world that can represent the Turkish people. With his unique look and great in-ring ability, he would be an interesting addition to NXT in the singles ranks.

Earlier this year, he has made an appearance in NXT in a match against No Way Jose and not only that, he was a backup replacement in the Cruiserweight Classic in case anyone got injured from the tournament. So NXT does have some interest in him and if they do sign him, it would be a great way to get into the Turkish market as Jonny Vandal is Turkish descent. Even though he lacked character and charisma, him getting signed could benefit him as he can go to the Performance Center to get a character and charisma there.

1. Flying Solow

Jason Cade and Aaron Solow, Flying Solow is one of the best tag teams in FIP today who are known for their cocky attitudes and their high flying abilities.

With only one year of experience as a tag team, these two have become 2x ACW Tag Team Champions while wrestling for FIP at the same time with their great chemistry, their good characters, good charisma, and great high flying abilities.

Last year, Aaron Solow made two appearances in NXT against the likes of Tyler Breeze, The Certified Gs, and Hype Bros and not only that, he was a backup replacement in the Cruiserweight Classic in case anyone got injured from the tournament. So NXT does have some interest in him, but I don’t know if they have any interest in signing Jason Cade. However, if NXT are looking are for more tag teams, Flying Solow would be a great candidates for the NXT tag team division because they’re flying solow.

That is my top five wrestlers from FIP who I think/want to be in NXT in 2017. Which wrestlers from FIP would you like to see in NXT in 2017? Let me know in the comment section below.
