205 Live on December 6, 2016 was a great show. 205 Live is a show where the cruiserweights take center stage as they will risk their bodies to entertain us wrestling fans. Let’s break it down:

We start off the show with a video package showing the character of Rich Swann and Rich Swann winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from The Brian Kendrick. This is good as it shows people who Rich Swann is and lets people know on what happened last week in case people missed it or forgot about it. Well produced video package here.

Cedric Alexander Vs. Noam Dar was a good match. Before the match, we see Cedric Alexander backstage with Alicia Fox as Alicia Fox will be watching Cedric Alexander in his match as Cedric Alexander heads to the ring.

It seems like 205 Live will be continuing the storyline with Cedric Alexander and Alicia Fox from Raw. It’s all fine and good as the more storylines, the better. Anyway, let’s talk about the match. Both men shook hands before the match.

Cedric Alexander did well in this match as he got to showcase his skills in the ring. His back elbow on Noam Dar looked devastating and his springboard forearm smash was well executed. Noam did well in this match too as he also got to showcase his skills in the ring. The way he worked the arm of Cedric Alexander throughout the entire match was good in-ring psychology right there. Good performances by both men here.

The ending of the match came when Noam Dar hit a running leg lariat on Cedric Alexander for the pin and win. Great to see Noam Dar getting a win here as he hasn’t won a match since debuting on the Cruiserweight division so this was a good win for him. Cedric Alexander looked good in defeat too. Both men did well here and they did their jobs.

After the match, Dasha Fuentes interviewed Noam Dar about his win over Cedric Alexander. Noam Dar said that he signed a big money contract and that he did it for Alicia Fox which made Cedric Alexander looked pissed outside of the ring.

It seems like we’ll be getting a feud between Cedric Alexander and Noam Dar over Alicia Fox which I’m fine with since it’s something for both men and it should be a fun feud. Plus, Noam Dar as a heel will be great as he’s better as a heel than a babyface with his work in ICW. Looking forward to see how this feud will turn out, should be good.

Good match and I can’t wait to see what’s next in this Cedric Alexander Vs. Noam Dar feud.

We then get a vignette about Mustafa Ali and it was good. Mustafa Ali talked about how he hates the fans for booing him, but he’s going to change that with his style in the ring as he believes that he’s the best and he can do anything. He then said that no one believed in him that he can make it to WWE, but he did and now, he’s going to become king of the cruiserweight division.

Just like I said last week and I’ll say it again this week, it’s great to see 205 Live giving characters to these cruiserweights which is great to see. Nice story for Mustafa Ali here and I’m glad he made it to the WWE. Good vignette here.

The backstage segment between Rich Swann and TJ Perkins was good. Rich Swann was getting ready for his match backstage as TJ Perkins showed up and wished Rich Swann luck as he thought he was lucky to beat him last night on Monday Night Raw. Rich Swann then said that it’s better to have luck than being good as TJ Perkins said that Rich Swann is good, but not as good as him as he left.

It seems like TJ Perkins is being a little bit too cocky here with him saying that he’s better than Rich Swann even though he didn’t literally say it. Are we going to get a heel turn from TJ Perkins with this? I don’t know, but either way, I’m intrigued. Good backstage segment here.

Jack Gallagher Vs. Ariya Daivari was a great match. After what happened last night on Monday Night Raw, it led to this match as Ariya Daivari attacked the leg of Jack Gallagher after the match as we see Jack Gallagher’s leg taped up. Nice continuation of the storyline there. I appreciate that a lot. Both men shook hands before the match with Ariya Daivari smiling at him.

Jack Gallagher did great in this match as he sold his knee from last night as well as showcasing his unique moveset and his charisma in the ring. His headbutt to Ariya Daivari looked painful. Ariya Daivari did great in this match too as he was working Jack Gallagher’s knee throughout the entire match where he showed great in-ring psychology. His discus elbow smash and running stomp to Jack Gallagher’s knee looked painful as heck. Great performances by both men here.

The ending of the match came when Ariya Daivari hit a frog splash on Jack Gallagher for the pin and win. Great to see Ariya Daivari getting a win here because just like with Noam Dar, he hasn’t won a match since debuting on the Cruiserweight division so this was a great win for him. Jack Gallagher looked great in defeat here and he had nothing to be ashamed of as he had to work with one knee in this match. Will be interesting to see if this feud will continue or not or if it ends here, but we’ll see.

Great match and I’m interested to see what’s next for Jack Gallagher and Ariya Daivari in 205 Live.

We then get a vignette that Lince Dorado is coming soon to 205 Live. Can’t wait to see the debut of Lince Dorado in 205 Live as I think he will do well on the show. It’s going to be great.

Rich Swann Vs. The Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship was an excellent match. Mark out moment! TJ Perkins was on commentary for this match as he made his entrance to the commentary booth.

Before the match, The Brian Kendrick was about to head his way to the ring until Tom Phillips began to interview him about his recent losses to Rich Swann as of late. The Brian Kendrick said that the only reason why Rich Swann won last week was because he had too many things in his mind so he couldn’t focus, but now he’s focused and he’s looking to get back his Cruiserweight Championship. He then said that Rich Swann dedicate his win to his mother, but when he wins, he’s going to dedicate it to himself.

I don’t know about you, but to me, it seems like The Brian Kendrick was just making excuses for himself for his loss last week, but I’ll leave it at that. Either way, The Brian Kendrick will have a plan because he’s “The Man With a Plan”. Good backstage interview here. Anyway, back to the match itself.

The Brian Kendrick was excellent in this match as he tried to take out Rich Swann at every point possible in this match. His Sliced Bread #2 on Rich Swann from the barricade to the floor and his reverse STO on Rich Swann to the ring post looked painful as heck. Rich Swann did excellent in this match too as he tried to pull all of the stops in order to retain his Cruiserweight Championship. His corkscrew senton from the middle rope to the outside on The Brian Kendrick as well as his spinning Michinoku Driver were well executed. Excellent performances by both men here.

The ending of the match came when The Brian Kendrick accidentally bumped into TJ Perkins on commentary as both men had a face off with one another before The Brian Kendrick got back into the ring where Rich Swann hit a reverse roundhouse kick on The Brian Kendrick for the pin and win. Another great win for Rich Swann here as he’s doing well as Cruiserweight Champion thus far. Can you handle this?!

After the match, The Brian Kendrick attacked TJ Perkins from the commentary booth which led to Rich Swann running back to the commentary booth to help TJ Perkins. The Brian Kendrick then got the upper hand on Rich Swann and TJ Perkins was about to hit a superkick on The Brian Kendrick, but The Brian Kendrick dodged it and TJ Perkins ended up superkicking Rich Swann instead which led to The Brian Kendrick throwing TJ Perkins to the barricade as he stood tall in the end.

It seems like we may be a three way feud between Rich Swann, TJ Perkins, and The Brian Kendrick which is fine by me as the more feuds, the better. It will be interesting to see how this feud between Rich Swann, TJ Perkins, and The Brian Kendrick will play out and I’ll be looking forward to it when the time comes. He’s a man with a plan!

Excellent match and I’m interested to see what’s next in this Rich Swann, TJ Perkins, and The Brian Kendrick feud.

Overall, great show for the second episode of 205 Live. It’s great to see the cruiserweights with more focus and attention here and it’s only going to get better from here. Looking forward to it.
