Topic/Subject: Today, I will be showing a match that involves a woman that is a golden goddess.

Wrestler: “The Golden Goddess” Mandy Rose.

Background Information: Mandy Rose is billed from Yorktown Heights, New York. She was born and raised in Westchester County, New York and is the youngest of four children. She is of Italian and Irish heritage.

She attended Yorktown High School where she participated in dance. She later earned her bachelor’s degree at Iona College majoring in speech pathology.

She entered her first fitness competition in 2013 and took first place in the World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Boston Show. She was also crowned the 2014 World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini Champion.

She was a contestant WWE Tough Enough VI of the WWE competition WWE Tough Enough which began airing in June 2015.

She was at risk of elimination on July 28, 2015, on an episode of WWE Tough Enough, but was saved by judge The Miz.

During the season finale, she adopted the ring name Mandy Rose and had a match with Alicia Fox.

She placed second overall after winners Sara Lee and Joshua Bredl.

In September 2015, it was announced that Naomi had been taken off the main cast of the WWE reality television series Total Divas, and had been replaced by her.

On October 6, 2015, her ring name was changed to Mandy.

After Tough Enough, she signed a five-year contract with the company. She made her in-ring debut for WWE’s developmental territory, WWE NXT, during a six-Diva tag team match at a live event in Venice, Florida on January 30, 2016.

On August 17, 2016, on an episode of NXT, she made her first televised appearance and in–ring debut where she competed in a six-woman tag team match along with Daria Berenato and Alexa Bliss in which they were defeated by Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Nikki Glencross.

On September 28, 2016, on an episode of NXT, she competed on her first singles televised match where she was defeated by Ember Moon.

She still competes in NXT to this day.

My Thoughts: Mandy Rose is a woman that has a lot of potential to get over time. She has a great look, a presence about her in and outside of the ring, she has a solid character, solid charisma, and she’s a solid wrestler in the ring. It’s all about the gold!

Video: This video contains a match between Mandy Rose and Ember Moon on September 28, 2016.

My Thoughts: This was a good women’s match that showcased Mandy Rose’s in-ring skills who has been slowly improving since she debuted. I’d do her

Her forearm smash, bicycle kick, and wheelbarrow facebuster on Ember Moon were well executed. Even though Mandy Rose lost this match, she looked good and it really showed that she had a lot of potential to be a good women’s wrestler down the road. Good performance by Mandy Rose here despite losing.

Good women’s match that really showcased Mandy Rose’s in-ring skills well.

Mandy Rose has improved a lot since she appeared at WWE Tough Enough last year and since she came into NXT, her in-ring skills are getting much better. She already has the character down with the Golden Goddess gimmick and she’s pretty good on the mic.

With her working on her in-ring skills, I can see her doing well in the NXT women’s division and possibly even the WWE women’s division if booked properly. It’s only a matter of time when “The Golden Goddess” Mandy Rose gets noticed on NXT. It’s all about the gold!
