Wrestling Rewrite: NXT Takeover: Brooklyn

Published

on

Hello everyone, this is Vaude Influence.

After this project being absent for about one year, it’s about time we brought it back.

Wrestling Rewrite is where three to five people from our site rewrite a show where we tried to make it better than what it already is. We first put the original format of the show, then we give our thoughts on the show, and finally, we show our rewrite for the show.

For this rewrite, Naka, 52, and I rewrote this show for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn that took place on August 22, 2015.

Without further ado, let’s get started.

Here’s the show for you to watch to see for yourself:

Our Thoughts:

Naka: Really good show from NXT. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There were some booking errors that could be fixed, but overall, NXT put on a good show. Their first show in front of a huge audience which led to NXT doing more TakeOvers outside of Full Sail.

52: It was an interesting show, but the Samoa Joe match was so forgettable that I forgot he was even signed.

Vaude: This was an excellent show from NXT. There was no bad match on this show and every match had a moment to remember and it was incredible to see. One of the best NXT live specials that NXT has to date. There could have been a few changes on this show, but overall, this was an excellent show and one of the best NXT live specials has especially the NXT Women’s Championship match.
