NXT Showcase: SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe & Sawyer Fulton)

Published

on

Topic/Subject: Today, I will be showing a match that contains that a tag team that is insane.

Wrestlers: SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe (Axel Tischer) & Sawyer Fulton (Jake South)).

Background Information: Alexander Wolfe is from Dresden, Sachsen, Germany. He is trained by Ahmed Chaer, Crazy Sexy Mike, and Joe E. Legend.

He first spent 11 years wrestling throughout the independent promotions of Germany and Europe. He debuted in 2004 under the name Axman in his first match for East Side Wrestling (ESW).

During the first 11 years of his career, he appeared in promotions including German Stampede Wrestling (GSW), European Wrestling Promotion (EWP), World Wide Pro Wrestling (WWPW), Athletic Club Wrestling (ACW), Premier Wrestling League (PWL), German Wrestling Federation (GWF) and Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw).

Throughout his career in Germany, he became an ESW Deutsche Meisterschaft Champion, a GSW Breakthrough Champion, a GSW Tag Team Champion, a GWF Berlin Champion, a wXw Shotgun Champion, and a wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion.

He competed in Germany until he signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

During 2015, he signed with the WWE and joined its NXT developmental program.

He debuted on June 18, 2015, under his real name in a match won by TNA alumni Samoa Joe. Over the course of 2015, The gained a loss record in singles matches and also spent some of his first year in battle royals.

On August 7, 2015, he debuted his new ring name of Alexander Wolfe.

Sawyer Fulton is from Toldeo, Ohio. He is trained by Jimmie Lee and the WWE Performance Center.

He would make his professional wrestling debut as Jake South on October 16, 2010 for Mid-Ohio Wrestling where he would defeat Izzy Lambert.

He would compete in the Heavyweight Title Tournament, but would lose in the semi-finals to Patrick Hayes.

He would go fight for Tri-County Heavyweight Title twice, but lost on both attempts.

With Cyrus Poe, he and Poe won the Mid-Ohio Tag Team Championships from Axel and The Bouncer. They would keep the titles until they lost to The Black Irish Saints (Damien Kass and Devlin Anderson).

He would challenge Bane for the world title, but lost.

In late 2012, he signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and was assigned to its developmental territory, NXT Wrestling.

In his debut match on NXT TV on May 2, 2013, he would compete in tag match against The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper).

During September 2016, Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton had wrestled regularly as a tag team.

On October 12, 2016, on an episode of NXT, the tag team made their debut during the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament as a part of the stable, SAnitY.

In late 2016, Sawyer Fulton suffered an injury which led him being kicked out of SAnitY as Killian Dain took Sawyer Fulton’s place in the stable.

Both men still compete in NXT to this day where Alexander Wolfe is still a part of SAnitY while Sawyer Fulton is still recovering from injury.

If Sawyer Fulton wasn’t injured, he along with Alexander Wolfe would probably have been on top of the NXT tag team division and possibly even NXT Tag Team Champions.

My Thoughts: This tag team of SAnitY had a lot of potential as their chemistry in the ring in terms of character and wrestling ability were very intriguing. If Sawyer Fulton didn’t get himself injured, I think this tag team would have gone far in NXT and possibly even winning the NXT Tag Team Championships. They take!

Video: This video contains a match between SAnitY and TM-61 on November 9, 2016.

My Thoughts: This was a good tag team that showcased the characters and chemistry that Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton have as a tag team.

I like how right before the match started, SAnitY immediately attacked TM-61 so they can get an advantage early on so that was great strategy there from SAnitY.

The spinebuster/European Uppercut combination on Shane Thorne was well executed. The chaotic dance that Alexander Wolfe did in the ring was fun to watch as he completely dominated Shane Thorne so that was nice to see. Even though they lost the match, they dominated most of the match and they looked good in defeat so they have something to be ashamed here.

Good tag team match that showcased the characters and chemistry that Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton have as a tag team.

It’s unfortunate that Sawyer Fulton got injured as I thought the pairing of Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton was working well as they do have that tag team chemistry with each other in the ring.

Hopefully, when Sawyer Fulton recovers from injury, he’ll be back with SAnitY and teams up with Alexander Wolfe again as I’m not feeling the tag team of Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain so Sawyer Fulton, get better soon so you can team up with Alexander Wolfe again and SAnitY can dominate! They take!

After watching the video, give me your thoughts on the video or the wrestler themselves. Thank you.
