It was announced by NJPW on their English Twitter account that one half of the IWGP Tag Team Champions, EVIL, has suffered a fracture to his orbital bone.

As a result, EVIL will miss the Raising an Army Anniversary show and instead of the scheduled CHAOS Vs. Los Ingobernables de Japón match, it will now be YOSHI-HASHI Vs. SANADA.

Here’s the updated card for the show:

NJPW Raising an Army Anniversary 2018

Ten Man Tag Team Match: Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Tiger Mask, KUSHIDA & Ryusuke Taguchi Vs. Yuji Nagata, Toa Henare, Tomoyuki Oka, Shota Umino & Tetsuhiro Yagi

Singles Match: Manabu Nakanishi Vs. Katsuya Kitamura

Tag Team Match: Juice Robinson & David Finlay Vs. CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano)

IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship 3-Way Match: Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) (c) Vs. Los Ingobernables de Japón (BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi) Vs. Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado)

Singles Match: YOSHI-HASHI Vs. SANADA

Singles Match: Tetsuya Naito Vs. Taichi

IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match: Minoru Suzuki (c) Vs. Togi Makabe

Author’s Note: Very unfortunate to hear EVIL’s injury. Hope he recovers and not a bad replacement match for the show.
