Backstage News On Natalya’s Heel Turn At Money In The Bank

Published

on

At Sunday’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view, Natalya turned heel on Becky Lynch after the women’s tag team match. The original plan was not for her to turn heel. On Monday’s Figure Four Daily, Bryan Alvarez noted that the original plan was actually for Becky Lynch to turn heel but, for some reason, they decided to change course. They followed up Natalya’s heel turn by having her attack Becky Lynch in a backstage segment on Raw. The heel turn will take Becky and Natalya’s focus off the Women’s title as Charlotte moves into a feud with Sasha Banks. The long-term plans are for an eventual feud between Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

There have been rumors about Natalya leaving the company when her current contract expires so she can be home with Tyson Kidd. Right now it seems that there has been no talk about that and people close to Natalya have not heard anything in that direction.
