Bray Wyatt Pulled From Japan Tour, WWE Places Bid On Production Building

Published

on

– WWE has pulled Bray Wyatt from the upcoming Japan tour. Wyatt was supposed to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura on 7/1, and wrestle Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins in a Fatal Four-Way Match on 7/2. WWE has yet to name a replacement for Wyatt on the tour.

John Cena and AJ Styles will be working against each other on the tour. Other WWE Superstars that are advertised for the tour include Asuka, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows.

– WWE looks to be expanding their TV production as the company recently placed a $27 million bid on the building that houses its TV production facility in Stamford, Connecticut, according to the Stamford Advocate. WWE wants to buy an office complex that was recently put up for sale as part of bankruptcy proceedings.

“An opportunity arose that made sense for us to pursue,” WWE said in their statement to the newspaper. “If we’re successful in the purchase of the building, WWE would become the building’s landlord and assumes the previous owner’s lease obligations.”

It should be noted that there are more than 100 bidders for a total of eight properties that were made available for bidding. WWE are ensuring their bid succeeds as they offered $3 million above the minimum price for the office complex they bid on.
