Participant Removed from G1 Climax 26 in Place of a New Participant

Published

on

On the last day of NJPW’s Kizuna Road on July 3, 2016, Satoshi Kojima has given up his spot for G1 Climax 26 as he has given the spot to Hiroyoshi Tenzan as Hiroyoshi Tenzan said he was disappointed for not being in G1 Climax this year.

After Satoshi Kojima has given his spot to Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Hiroyoshi Tenzan then gets on the mic and said that this might be his last G1 Climax in his wrestling career.

Here are the updated participants in G1 Climax 26:

Block A:

Togi Makabe

Tomohiro Ishii

Hirooki Goto

Bad Luck Fale

Naomichi Marufuji

Tama Tonga

SANADA

Kazuchika Okada

Hiroshi Tanahashi

Hiroyoshi Tenzan

Block B:

Katsuyori Shibata

Yuji Nagata

Tomoaki Honma

Michael Elgin

Toru Yano

EVIL

Tetsuya Naito

Kenny Omega

Katsuhiko Nakajima

YOSHI-HASHI

Author’s Note: From the promo that Hiroyoshi Tenzan cut on that show, it felt like he’s going to retire from professional wrestling. If that’s the case, thank you Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Now, G1 Climax 26 looks even better now. Should be great.
