on

Kota Ibushi is leaving his home country of Japan for an opportunity with WWE NXT. PWTorch reports that Ibushi has signed with the company. Also, Gran Metalik (Mascara Dorada in Mexico) has agreed to a deal with WWE.

Both wrestlers impressed WWE officials while competing in the Cruseightweight Classic Tournament, which is currently airing on the WWE Network on Wednesday nights.

WWE has yet to officially announce the signings.

According to PWTorch, WWE is also looking to sign Zack Sabre, Jr., Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Akira Tozawa, and Jack Gallagher. Keep in mind that all of the wrestlers will have to finish up their indie dates and other commitments before signing with WWE and report to the WWE Performance Center.
