BUSHI (NJPW), Kaiji Tomato (K-Dojo) & Gurukun Mask (Ryukyu Dragon) defeated David Finlay (NJPW), Yuma Aoyagi (AJPW) & Eita (Dragon Gate)

Taichi (Pro Wrestling NOAH) defeated Jushin “Thunder” Liger (NJPW)  in a Super J-Cup Second Round match

KUSHIDA (NJPW) defeated Kenoh (Pro Wrestling NOAH) in a Super J-Cup Second Round match

Yoshinobu Kanemaru (Pro Wrestling NOAH) defeated Ryusuke Taguchi (NJPW) in a Super J-Cup Second Round match

Matt Sydal (ROH) defeated Will Ospreay (NJPW) in a Super J-Cup Second Round match

Volador Jr. (CMLL), Caristico (CMLL) & Titán (CMLL) defeated Último Guerrero (CMLL), Euforia (CMLL) & Gran Guerrero (CMLL)

KUSHIDA (NJPW) defeated Taichi (Pro Wrestling NOAH)  in a Super J-Cup Semi-Final match

Yoshinobu Kanemaru (Pro Wrestling NOAH) defeated Matt Sydal (ROH) in a Super J-Cup Semi-Final match

Momo no Seishun Tag (Daisuke Harada (PRO Wrestling NOAH) & Atsushi Kotoge (Pro Wrestling NOAH)) defeated Taiji Ishimori (Pro Wrestling NOAH) & ACH (ROH) to retain the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships

The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson (NJPW)) defeated Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin (ROH) & Alex Shelley (ROH)) to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships

KUSHIDA (NJPW) defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru (Pro Wrestling NOAH) in a Super J-Cup Finals match to become the 2016 Super J-Cup winner


Author’s Note: This was a good show that had some great to excellent matches. Would love to see this concept return next year as it provided some great to excellent matches. Another great way to spotlight the junior heavyweight wrestlers in NJPW.
