Here are the results of PROGRESS Wrestling “Chapter 35: Writing Nirvana On Other People’s Bags” on August 28, 2016:

British Strong Style (“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne & Trent Seven) defeated “Number One” Damian Dunne & Tyler Bate

After the match, British Strong Style were involved in a shoving match with The London Riots who were guests on commentary.

Nixon Newell defeated Alex Windsor

“The Extraordinary Gentleman” Jack Gallagher defeated “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, “The Pride Of Wales” Eddie Dennis & “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson in a four way match

After the match, Dave Mastiff distracted Jack Gallagher and Eddie Dennis which allowed Zack Gibson to beat down both men with a car stereo.

“Iron Man” Joe Coffey defeated Dave Mastiff in a semi-final match to advance in the finals of the Atlas Championship Tournament

Shane Strickland defeated “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay

During the match, Will Ospreay feigned a shoulder injury in an attempt to get an advantage.

After the match, Will Ospreay apologized to Shane Strickland for trying to cheat. He then announced that his schedule no longer matches PROGRESS Wrestling’s and that he was saying goodbye for now.

Prior to the match, Mikey Whiplash demanded that Mark Haskins put his championship opportunity on the line. Mark Haskins agreed to the demand.

“The Star Attraction” Mark Haskins defeated “The Deity Of Deviance” Mikey Whiplash

Rampage Brown defeated T-Bone in a semi-final match to advance in the finals of the Atlas Championship Tournament

Sebastian came to the ring and told the fans that PROGRESS Wrestling management were against him from the start. Sebastian then called Pastor William Eaver to the ring and told him that he would reveal his secret, but not just yet. He then handed in a steel chair, but Pastor William Eaver refused to use it. Sebastian in turn attacked Pastor William Eaver.

“The Villain” Marty Scurll defeated “White Lightning” Mark Andrews to retain the PROGRESS Championship.

After the match, Mark Andrews was attacked by The Origin until Jack Gallagher, Eddie Dennis and Damon Moser came to his aid. Marty Scurll then applied the Chicken Wing once again to Mark Andrews, but was stopped by a superkick from Mark Haskins.


Author’s Note: A great show from PROGRESS Wrestling where there wasn’t one bad match on the show. Chapter 36 is looking to be a great show next month and I’m looking forward to it. If you haven’t already, please watch and support PROGRESS Wrestling. You won’t be disappointed.
