Adam Rose Arrested In Florida, Suspended Indefinitely By WWE

WWE Superstar Adam Rose (real name Raymond Leppan) was arrested early Wednesday morning by the Hillsborough, Florida Sheriffs office for tampering with a witness and domestic battery violence. He is being held without bond.

According to the criminal report affidavit, Leppan and his wife got into an argument about their marriage, which led to things getting physical. Leppan allegedly grabbed her face with his hands then pulled her close to him then started screaming at her.

This led to his wife calling 911, but Leppan took the phone away from her. Once Police arrived at the scene, Leppan admitted that he took the phone away from her and this is the reason why he was charged with tampering with a witness, which is a felony in the state of Florida. The domestic battery charge is a misdemeanor.

Rose is currently serving a 60-day suspension from WWE and this arrest does not do him any favors.

Following the news of his arrest in Florida, WWE has announced that Leppan has been suspended indefinitely. WWE’s has a zero tolerance policy on domestic violence. Leppan’s future with WWE does not look good.

Here is what WWE states in their talent wellness program:

WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.

WWE’s ability to fine, suspend or terminate a WWE talent will not be, however, limited or compromised in any manner in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE. Section 9.13(a) of the WWE booking contract, commonly known as the “morals clause”, provides WWE with broad discretion and authority to act under such circumstances.
