Adam Rose Heads To Court, $1000 Bond Set

WWE Superstar Adam Rose (real name Raymond Leppan) was arrested early Wednesday morning by the Hillsborough, Florida Sheriffs office for tampering with a witness and domestic battery violence. He is being held without bond.

According to the criminal report affidavit, Leppan and his wife got into an argument about their marriage, which led to things getting physical. Leppan allegedly grabbed her face with his hands then pulled her close to him then started screaming at her.

This led to his wife calling 911, but Leppan took the phone away from her. Once Police arrived at the scene, Leppan admitted that he took the phone away from her and this is the reason why he was charged with tampering with a witness, which is a felony in the state of Florida. The domestic battery charge is a misdemeanor.

Rose appeared in court on Thursday. The judge wanted to issue a restraining order but Rose’s wife begged him to reconsider. The judge brought up a previous domestic incident back in March. Rose’s wife argued that they both need to be around for their child, who has special needs. The judge held off on the restraining order and placed Rose on a $1,000 bond.

He was issued a $1,000 bond earlier today – $500 for the misdemeanor domestic battery, and $500 for the felony tampering with a witness. He has to be back in court next month to face the charges, and has been ordered to take part in counseling with his pastor until then. Adam Rose got out of jail on Thursday afternoon following his domestic disturbance arrest. Rose, real name Ray Leppan, was released in Hillsborough County, Florida at 4:10 PM ET.

WWE issued a 60-day suspension for violating their wellness policy back in April, then when the news of his arrest broke on Wednesday, they suspended him indefinitely.
