E3 2017 Microsoft and Bethesda Press Conferences and Trailers

Here are the details of the Microsoft and Bethesda Press Conferences on June 11, 2017.

This will also include game trailers and the conferences.


Microsoft:

Xbox One X

Here are the details of the Xbox One X:

  • Formerly known as Project Scorpio, but it’s now known as Xbox One X
  • The console will be released on November 7, 2017 at a cost of $500 in the US
  • It will be the smallest console from the Xbox family to date
  • It will have backwards compatibility where they will add original Xbox games including Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
  • There will be free 4K upgrades for the following games: Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Killer Instinct, Halo Wars 2, and Minecraft


Forza Motorsport 7

The game will be run at native 4K and 60 frames per second. Gameplay for the game was shown.


Metro: Exodus

Sequel of Metro: Last Light and a trailer for the game was shown.


Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Gameplay for the game was shown.


Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds

The game will be launched in Xbox One exclusively in late 2017.


Deep: Rock Galactic

A shooting game from Goat Simulator and trailer for the game was given.


State of Decay 2

The game will be launched exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 in Spring 2018.


Minecraft

Minecraft on Xbox One will contain the following:

  • Cross-play with the Nintendo Switch
  • There will be an enhanced visual pack for the game for the Xbox One X


Dragon Ball FighterZ 

A trailer for the game was given.


Black Desert Online

A MMORPG that will launch exclusively on the Xbox One in early 2018.


The Artful Escape

A game published by Annapurna Interactive, the same publisher who published What Remains of Edith Finch. A trailer for the game was given.


Sea of Thieves

A new game developed by Rare and it will be delayed to 2018. A trailer for the game was given.


Tacoma

A game developed by Fullbright who made Gone Home and it will launch on Xbox One and PC in August 2, 2017.


Super Lucky’s Tale

The game will be launched on Xbox One and PC in November 7, 2017.


Cuphead

The game will be released in September 29, 2017 on Xbox One and Windows 10.


Crackdown 3

The game will be launched on Xbox One and PC on November 7, 2017. Gameplay was shown.


Life is Strange: Before The Storm

The game will come out on August 31, 2017 and this will be the first episode.


Ori and the Will of the Wisps

A sequel to the Ori and the Blind Forest. A trailer for the game was given.


Anthem

New game developed by BioWare. A trailer for the game was given.

Bethesda:

Doom VFR

New mechanics will be added to the game including unique dash and teleportation.


Fallout 4 VR

A reality version of Fallout 4 and a trailer was given.


Creation Club

A new feature for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 as new content will be made from Bethesda and the community.


Elder Scrolls Legends: Heroes of Skyrim

The game will be released on June 29, 2017 and a trailer was given.


The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch

The game will coming to the Nintendo Switch with amiibo functionality and here’s a trailer for it.


Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

DLC will be available for the game on September 15, 2017 where the player will play as Meagan Foster.


Quake Champions

A competition that will start on August 26, 2017 during QuakeCon where a person can win $1,000,000 and BJ Blazkowicz, a character from the new Wolfenstein game will be playable.


The Evil Within 2

The game will be released on October 13, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A trailer for the game was given.


Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

The game will be launched on October 27, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. A trailer for the game was given.

Author’s Note: Microsoft had a solid press conference while Bethesda was very disappointing.
