From March 9 to March 21, NJPW presents New Japan Cup 2018 where sixteen heavyweights battle it out in a single-elimination tournament where the winner will get a title shot for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship, or the NEVER Openweight Championship at Sakura Genesis.


Here are the results of NJPW New Japan Cup on March 10, 2018.


Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado) defeated Ryusuke Taguchi & Ren Narita

David Finlay & Tetsuhiro Yagi defeated Yuji Nagata & Shota Umino

CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) defeated Michael Elgin & Tomoyuki Oka

Suzuki-gun (Takashi Iizuka & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) defeated Juice Robinson & Toa Henare

Los Ingobernables de Japón (Tetsuya Naito, SANADA & BUSHI) defeated Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr. & TAKA Michinoku)

CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI & Chuckie T) defeated Kota Ibushi, Yujiro Takahashi, Tanga Roa & Chase Owens

Bad Luck Fale defeated Lance Archer in a first-round match of the 2018 New Japan Cup

Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Taichi in a first-round match of the 2018 New Japan Cup
