From March 9 to March 21, NJPW presents New Japan Cup 2018 where sixteen heavyweights battle it out in a single-elimination tournament where the winner will get a title shot for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship, or the NEVER Openweight Championship at Sakura Genesis.


Here are the results of NJPW New Japan Cup on March 12, 2018.


Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado) defeated Ryusuke Taguchi & Ren Narita

Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Tanga Roa) defeated Yuji Nagata, Shota Umino & Tetsuhiro Yagi

CHAOS (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) defeated Michael Elgin & Tomoyuki Oka

Los Ingobernables de Japón (Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI) defeated Suzuki-gun (Zack Sabre Jr. & TAKA Michinoku)

Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer, Takashi Iizuka & Taichi) defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, David Finlay & Toa Henare

CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii) defeated Kota Ibushi & Chase Owens

Toru Yano defeated Davey Boy Smith Jr. in a first-round match of the 2018 New Japan Cup

SANADA defeated Chuckie T in a first-round match of the 2018 New Japan Cup
