AAA Triplemania XXV Results Including Appearances from GFW Stars

Here are the results of AAA’s Triplemania XXV on August 26, 2017:

Ashley, Dragon Solar, Pardux & Solaris defeated Hashtary, Chicano, Bronco Gonzalez & Fetiche in a Llave a Gloria pre-show match

Angelikal, Hijo Del Vikingo & The Tigger defeated Tiger Boy, Villano III Jr. & Ángel Mortal Jr. in a Llave a Gloria pre-show match

Marisela Pena was sitting at ringside with her family along with the ashes of Antonio Pena. She was introduced to the live crowd and she waved to the people.

A military band played the national anthem during the opening ceremonies to start off the main card.

Mini Psycho Clown, Hernandez, Hiedra & Mamba defeated Máscara de Bronce, Dinastía, Big Mami & Estrella Divina

Sexy Star defeated Rosemary, Lady Shani & Ayako Hamada to retain the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship

After the match, Martha Villalobos presented Sexy Star with the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

Vampiro announced that the Llave a Gloria winners are Angelikal, Ashely and Hijo del Vikingo. He also did the Dana White/Oprah gimmick of awarding everyone something. Participants from the previous preliminary matches become the first class enrolled at a new training facility run by AAA.

Psycho Circus (Monster Clown & Murder Clown) defeated La Secta (Dark Cuervo & Dark Escoria), Andrew Everett & DJ Z, and Aero Star & Drago

Marisela Pena delivered a speech and introduced a tribute video honoring legends and luchadores that have passed.

La Parka defeated Heavy Metal, Lanzeloth, Ricky Marvin, Faby Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata, Australian Suicide, Chessman, Super Fly, Averno, Histeria, Maniaco, Psicosis, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido,  Decnis, Halloween, Mr. Aguila, X-Fly, Nino Hamburguesa, Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Argenis, Bengala, Blue Demon Jr., Pirata Morgan, El Cobarde, Jeff Jarrett, Lashley, and Moose to win the Torneo Triplemania XXV

After the match, Latin Lover made an appearance to present La Parka a championship belt for winning.

Pagano Vs. El Mesias in a street fight ended in a no contest

After the match, Rey Escorpion attacked both Pagano and El Mesias and took down after they have been stretchered out of the arena.

Johnny Mundo defeated Texano Jr. and El Hijo del Fantasma in a ladder match to retain the AAA Mega Championship, AAA Cruiserweight Championship, and the AAA Latin American Heavyweight Championship

After the match, Johnny Mundo cut a promo as he called out Vampiro and Johnny Mundo wanted Vampiro to put the belts around his waist. Johnny Mundo then cussed at Vampiro and called him a bitch-made mark a couple of times as Vampiro didn’t fight back.

Johnny Mundo then slapped Vampiro across the face and spat at him. Johnny Mundo cussed on him more until Vampiro grabbed Johnny Mundo by the throat and delivered a chokeslam as he told Johnny Mundo to not mess with hin.

Texano Jr. and El Hijo del Fantasma started fighting again as they hit each other with chair shots to the head and they continued to bleed. They started to brawl until they were separated by officials and security.

Psycho Clown defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in a mask vs. mask match

Maximo and La Máscara joined him in the ring to celebrate as Psycho Clown brought his child into the ring while Dr. Wagner Jr.’s son consoled his father.

Dr. Wagner Jr. unmasked himself as Juan Manuel Gonzalez Barron who is the age of 52 and is from Torreon, Mexico.


Author’s Note: A better show than last year’s Triplemania, but they could have done a lot better too. At least there weren’t much problems for the stream this time around so that’s good.
